Dougie and Frankie were spotted in London last night having what looked like an emotional chat. Here’s an article from 3am:

Ah yes, looks like the familiar post-break up ‘are you OK?’ chat

About one month after the dramatic split? Check. Bag full of boy stuff? Check. Tears? Check. Awkward silences? Check.

Ok, so we don’t know for definite that there were awkward silences because we weren’t actually there – but by the looks of these pictures, Frankie Saturdays and Dougie McFly have just had THE post-break up convo.

The pair broke the hearts of teenagers (and slightly strange twenty-somethings) everywhere last month by announcing their split, following nasty rumours that Frankie was courting Calum Best.

Frankie has since been falsely linked to Ashley Cole and Aston JLS – making for quite the uncomfortable chat, we’re sure.

The pair were snapped turning up separately for their heart-to-heart at the Mayfair hotel in London last night. Pretty fancy, but not all that private. All the better for us to ogle at you.

As you all know, McFly have been in Atlanta for the past few weeks, working with Dallas Austin. Dallas blogged on his official site about McFly’s visit:

Well, I know you guys have been wondering what me and my homes, McFly, have been up to. Well, we gotta get these albums done!! Therefore, we can’t blog all of the time. We also really love for you guys to feel like you are a part of what’s going on (since it’s for you anyway), so I took a couple of pictures for your enjoyment.

The guys drove into Atlanta in this blazing orange hot rod road runner and instantly felt right back at home in the dirty south. Harry didn’t get to come last time, some bullshit about a broken heart or something but he is in Atlanta in full effect. These guys are really adapting well to the southern lifestyle.

We have been keeping the most amazing song board ever made and here is a sneak peek. It started a little something like this……

The photoshoot took place while McFly were in Madrid for the MySpace Session gig on December 2nd. From EXIF data, the photos are said to have been taken on December 1st, but other fansites state that they were taken on the 2nd, so if anyone knows the true date, do clarify it for me!

Dougie's birthday welcome

Tom took to his official YouTube account to show us how Spanish fans gave Dougie a warm birthday welcome when they arrived at the airport. Sure to tickle your heartstrings

As you may know, McFly are currently in Spain as they will be playing a Myspace Sessions gig in Madrid tonight at Sala Penélope. More details can be found our dedicated gig page and on the Sesiones Myspace site.

McFly fulfilled one of their American fans’ biggest wishes for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, taking her out to dinner. We’ve uploaded 1 MQ photo of the band with April, to the gallery:

April meets the McFly boys!

April came all the way from the USA to meet her favourite band – and they didn’t disappoint!

“The best night of my life – absolutely nothing can top it. McFly are the nicest people ever!”

That was 17 year old April’s verdict after Make-A-Wish arranged for her to spend some time with the four lads who together make up the hugely popular band McFly: Tom, Danny, Dougie and Harry.

It’s a good thing that the wish was a huge success – April, who lives with renal failure, had flown over from Connecticut with her Mum and Dad especially for her to meet the band!

The big day started well when April found everyone staring at her as she got into the stretch limousine which picked up the family from their hotel. Loving the attention, she was so excited that she couldn’t eat as they travelled to lead singer Tom’s house in London, where April and the whole band enjoyed a chat. April was a little quiet at first, but she soon got into her stride and remembered all the questions she’d been planning to ask for weeks.

Before she knew it, an hour had whizzed past and it was time for everyone to head for a restaurant to share one of the most memorable meals of April’s life!

All the boys in the band were very friendly and patient and happily posed for pictures, before all signing the restaurant menu for April to treasure forever.

Last word goes to the band – they don’t need to worry; this was a day April will never forget:

“We had a really special time with April and her family – it’s amazing she came all the way from the USA just to see her favourite band. We hope we made it worthwhile.

All our love, McFly.”
