Harry is certainly blog-happy, for he has posted three MySpace blogs already from Australia…

AUSTRALIA and THE MARATHON!

Hello Everybody! How are we all? Its Harry here messaging you all from AUSTRALIA! Its amazing here and were all having the best time ever. We’ve been here for a few weeks now and are well into rehearsals and the new songs are sounding awsome, i can’t wait for you all to here them. We’ve also been doing stuff like the Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb, going to the beach (and getting our Pale bodies out!), go-karting and beleive or not we all did a skydive, which was insane. I’m you will see the videos of them in good time.

As some of you may already know i’m running the marathon in April and i’ve been doing alot of training, like running along the beach Bay Watch stlye! I’ve had a website set up (http://www.harryrunsthemarathon.com) so if you want to find out a bit about the two charitys i’m running for (Teenage Cancer Trust and BIRT) then check it out. These two charitys mean so much to me and they are both such great causes. Also if you want to sponser me just go on the website and follow the instructions! I would also like to say a HUGE thankyou to everyone who has sponsored so far, i’ve been reading your messages and am so gratefull for your kind support.

I will keep you all updated as much as i can over the next few weeks and will try to reply to as many messages as possible, so do your best to spread the word about sponsoring me!

Then me and danny met this guy who invited us to go and play some football (or soccer, as its called out here) and had a cool time.

I wish i could thank you all individually but i just wanted to say that i’m reading all your comments when you make a donations on the website and i’m so gratefull for your support. All the guys say hi, Dougie is currently sitting on the sofa with tissues up his noise (feathered pillows apperently!) whilst watching a wildlife programme! Tom is messing around with his new camera and who knows what Danny is doing?!

The (Big) News Update

10:38 pm in Uncategorised by Corinne

After taking a look at all those wonderful photos, I’m sure you want some news, so here are the top stories, with a few photos where relevant…There are rumours that McFly intend to leave their record label. Though nothing has yet been confirmed from the boys themselves, a bulletin was sent around by Tom’s sister saying that they are not splitting up, but are changing record labels. This article was published by The Sun:
Boyband will be McFlying soloMcFLY are spreading their wings and leaving the record label that made them famous. The lads – TOM FLETCHER, DANNY JONES, DOUGIE POYNTER and HARRY JUDD – have decided the time has come to grow up and shake off the shackles of being a boy band. Oh dear. That breaks pop lesson No1 – don’t tamper with a winning formula. McFly have been disgustingly successful, with seven No1 singles and two No1 albums – not to mention enough awards to buckle a steel mantelpiece. But their success is largely down to the clever guidance of their management team and Island, their label. The lads are in Australia, where they are recording the last album they are contracted to release under their deal. It is there they hatched their masterplan. They have instructed management to hunt out a new deal similar to the one PAUL McCARTNEY signed with coffee giants Starbucks. A source said: “The boys feel they have outgrown the company. Label chiefs have plans for them they disagree with. They are tired of being a boy band. They want to be recognised for their songwriting and being more than just a teen act. The time in Australia has given them a chance to put together their battle plan. They are all really excited about the idea of being free to make their own decisions about their future.”Read More:{discuss} McFly leaving record label{source} The Sun: Boyband will be McFlying solo
Many people have sent me emails asking about Dougie’s new girlfriend, Louise, who attended his mother’s recent wedding with him. The relationship has been confirmed by his mother, and this is what Dougie recently said about her:
I’ve recently fallen hard for a chick. I’m crazy about her. Love is having the most respect in the world for that one girl. You think everything she does is just absolutely amazing – even if it’s just average stuff. It’s weird.{discuss} Bliss Magazine Interview – McFly Go Emo [January 2008]
Dougie was photographed with Louise at his mum’s wedding at the beginning of this year (congratulations, Sam!). We feel there is no need to upload photos from the wedding without Dougie in them, so here the only two photos of Dougie we have from the wedding:

{photo} 02/01/08; Sam Poynter’s Wedding{discuss} Sam’s Wedding (Dougies Mother)It turns out that Dougie is the celebrity crush of a contestant on the recently-ended Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack show.

Liam (pictured above), a 19 year old enterpreneur from Liverpool admitted this on Big Brother’s Little Brother. His sister, Carrie Fletcher, put them up for auction to raise money for the Operation Esther fund.{discuss} Tom’s jeans! On Sunday 13th April 2008, Harry is going to be running the Flora London Marathon for the Teenage Cancer Trust and The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust, and has set up a site to try and get people to sponser him. Here is some information on the reasons behind the run:

So, why should you support Harry?Well, we can think of a few reasons…1. He took on a gruelling training regime at the same time as McFly were on tour. This meant spending all his spare time going running rather than chilling out.2. It would be a really really nice thing to do.3. The Marathon is not easy. Twenty six miles pounding the streets of London followed by weeks of aches, pains and blisters.4. He is supporting two really good charities. One (Teenage Cancer Trust) is raising money to build a new unit in Cambridge for teenagers with cancer and the other (BIRT) is raising money for Kent House, a brain injury service attended by Harry’s friend Rupert.{source} HarryRunsTheMarathon.com{discuss} Harry Is Running The London Marathon!
If you would like to donate and support Harry’s run, go to HarryRunsTheMarathon.com for more information. Good luck, Harry! In other Harry news, it looks as if he has a black eye! This photo was taken with a fan shortly after their arrival in Sydney:

{discuss} Harry’s black eye?Last but not least, The Jonas Brothers, a popular boyband from the US, said in an interview that they’d love to do a duet with McFly. Perhaps something will come out of it…That’s all for now. Visit Dougiefied for more news and discussion!

Dougie walked away with his own award, thanks to his good looks, for the second time running…:

Setting hearts a-flutter and bagging his second Most Fanciable Male award in a row was McFly bassist Dougie Poynter, whose baby-faced good looks defeated nominees including Take That’s Howard Donald, Scottish crooner Paolo Nutini and the perennially popular Justin Timberlake.2nd place Howard Donald3rd place Jared Leto
… and the whole band won an award for their live performances, beating the likes of Muse and Foo Fighters!:

Perhaps the Awards’ biggest surprise came in the Best Live category, which saw young pop-rock quartet McFly beat highly-acclaimed performers including Muse, Prince and Foo Fighters, running away with an incredible 67% of the vote.
