Dougie openly admitted that he had a crush on her in early McFly interviews while she was still in S Club 8, and they met briefly, but it was only until the two bands met at G-A-Y, when they started dating. “I don’t care about all the girls who go for him. They should fancy him – he’s gorgeous! But he’s mine and I trust him” [1], says Frankie. The couple dated for over a year and moved in together, but broke up in March 2010 and remain good friends.
