CAMPAIGN CLOSED

Unfortunately, Kimi passed away on the 16th March 2008 after battling her illness in hospital for two days. There was nothing that the doctors could do about it. Her funeral took place on 23rd March.

       

       
Sadly, we never achieved our campaign goal, but we were so close, and we know that Kimi appreciated all of the effort that went into it. Thank you to every single person who supported the campaign - it meant a lot to her, to see so many people join forces to make her dream come true. This site will remain for as long as Dougie-Poynter.com is online, and over the next few weeks, will become a tribute to one of our most popular members, while actively continuing to support the Teenage Cancer Trust. A scrapbook project mini-site will be included as part of this transition.

Kimi was a beautiful person, inside and out, and made a lot of good friends over at Dougiefied. She'll never be forgotten. Rest in Peace, Kimberli Stine Mortensen.
